Necklace Tank

by Kate on May 28, 2011

I whipped up an appliqued tank for myself following the Necklace Tank project from Sew Darn Cute. I simplified my version by leaving off the buttons and the tiny bit of embroidery on the collar seam (pictured below). My style is a little more basic and I preferred the look w/out the embellishments. I might make Stella a version with buttons though. The materials list calls for HeatnBond Lite fusible adhesive and I used Lite Steam-a-Seam2. Its the same thing but a different brand, and it makes applique so easy. I feel an applique rampage coming on. I may not be able to control myself.

Could you let me know where you’re getting my tank top from so I can give you the correct size? Or show me how to sew. I LOVE THIS. :-) You are so damned talented! :-)

very cute- I am a basic style person too, but I think the buttons on the original look good too!
