Hopscotch Top

by Kate on May 15, 2011

Today is the last official day of KCWC. I finished the Hopscotch Ruffle Top and coerced Stella into modeling it. I’m not above bribing someone with a lollipop (husband included). This one was easy, especially since I didn’t make my own bias tape. Becky of Owl Baby did a very nice job laying out the steps in her PDF pattern. I made this one in a size 4T. It’s big on her but she’ll be able to wear it next summer too.

Gonna squeeze in some more sewing later today. I should have something else to show you tomorrow…pending my sewing machine doesn’t do something weird. In which case I’d be forced to run out and buy a brand new serger immediately. Because it would be an emergency of the highest order. And that would be the *only* acceptable solution. Right? :)

Prosh. Do you have a serger already, or do you use your regular machine/overlock stitch when you make clothes? I love this pattern!
