Today I made myself a new accessory to increase my fly-ness. I used part of a gorgeous Etsuko linen quarter that I’ve been saving. I think aubergine and orange are perfect colors for a fall wrist cuff. Yes, I am channeling Antoine Merriweather and Blaine Edwards. This snappy little guy was fast and simple to make, and I love it.
The cuff feels pretty secure on my arm with two Dritz sew-on-snaps (size 4/0). I stitched lines at 1/4″ intervals for texture but you can see that they’re a little wonky, which I like.
In completely unrelated news: it’s harder than one might think to take a picture of one’s own wrist.
