Twisted up

by Kate on October 1, 2011

It is vital to accessorize when one is almost 4 years old. Charity benefits, clubbing, A-list dinners. One must prepare to be photographed at a moment’s notice. Stella is sporting some new head fashion by mom (don’t confuse her with Stella McCartney). Carrie @ Such Designs majorly hooked me up! She sent over her Twitst-it! T-Shirt Yarn Hairwear Kit. I followed instructions for dying and making my own t-shirt yarn out of my man’s old shirts. My mother helped me roll all of the yarn into little yarn balls. Great balls, mom. Seriously.

Making the accessories was a blast. The hardest part was getting each flower started but still pretty easy. I used hot glue instead of the recommended fabric glue because I like instant gratification. I zazzed the flowers up with some jewels, feathers and a few dabs of Stella’s glitter glue.

Now Mr. PeepThread has some really fancy custom half-shirts. He hasn’t worn any of them yet. He must be saving them for a special occasion.

Thanks again to Carrie for the awesome kit! :) Don’t forget to enter the Such Designs giveaway!

I keep coming back and examining these. I’m going to need a hands on seminar. At your house. Also we should have wine at this seminar. :)
