I was unpacking yet another box this week and Miz Henrietta came tumbling out. I made her awhile ago but she asked to be on zee blog. Vain little reptile.
I followed Heather Bailey’s Henrietta Turtle pattern and I’m pretty sure I overstuffed the poor kid. Live and learn. I had fun with the felt flower accessory and I’d love to make more of these. She is intended to be “a pleasant little pincushion or toy”. Stella likes to kidnap her shell and hide it (I haven’t stitched it down). I have found naked Henrietta stuffed in a roll of toilet paper, wedged in a shoe and stranded in the refrigerator.
